The Art of Extending Our Menu

If you've been to the restaurant in the past few weeks, you've probably noticed a little action happening in the kitchen. You may have been asked to try a bite of a dish or offered a special for the day, and you probably saw Gary Farina back on the line, cooking and teaching. These were all small glimpses into what we've been cooking up: a little refresh to our menu.


As a family- owned small business, our process of refreshing our menu looks a little different than other places. We first start with feedback from our patrons, kitchen staff, and front of house staff: What items from our menu do you love? What is missing the mark? What would you love to see on our menu that we don't currently offer? After receiving feedback, the real work begins.


For the past several weeks, we have been diligently at work creating new recipes for new items, trying out new ingredients in existing menu items, analyzing cost savings and quality of product between our various vendors, reviewing every single detail in the preparation, cooking, and plating process, and training our full kitchen staff in every aspect of our menu-- including some fresh new items.

Our Founder and Owner Emeritus, Gary Farina, has been more than instrumental in all of our updates. Each and every new item has been crafted by the man himself, and each of our cooks and chefs have received their training under his tutelage.


SO WHAT'S NEW?

If we could get a drumroll, please.... we have a whole new lunch menu!


LET'S LUNCH

One of the biggest pieces of feedback we received was that people wanted us to offer more light bites during lunch-- sandwiches, half-pizza and half-salad options, and more light fairs that were quick to eat and would help energize for the afternoon. Your call has been answered! We now have new sandwiches, lighter pasta options like our Lemon Pasta with Shrimp, and a pick 2 lunch special for a 1/2 pizza and choice of salad, soup, or mac & cheese available daily between 11:00am - 3:00pm.


ELEVATING OUR CLASSICS

Did I hear someone say WAGYU BURGER?!? Our regular burger has been described by my 12-year-old niece as "The best burger ever." We are raising those high standards even more by adding Wagyu to the menu.

In addition to our burger upgrade, we have added two completely new dishes: Crab Cake Sliders and Fish Tacos. If you happened to be in the restaurant during the week that these items were in development, you may have been offered the chance to try the coleslaw served with both items or the crab cakes while they were being perfected by our team. Let me tell you, you can taste the love and dedication that went into bringing this item to life.




THE PIZZA LUNCH SPECIAL

You asked for it and we answered! Enjoy a 1-topping half-pizza served with your choice of house salad, soup, or mac & cheese.


YOUR NEW GO-TO SALAD

We have added a new salad to our lineup! The Fresco Salad features a spinach & spring mix with fresh chopped strawberries, blueberries, candied walnuts, black bean humus, and feta cheese served with balsamic vinaigrette. Add your choice of chicken breast, shrimp, salmon, thinly-sliced ribeye, or enjoy it as is!
